I’m an ex Cafcass Family Court Advisor (FCA) and qualified social worker. My unique ‘insider’ experience of the family court system will help steer you through this challenging time.

My work as an FCA and Children’s Guardian has given me a deep understanding of the family court system, especially the importance of reducing conflict and narrowing down the issues to focus on what really matters. I can support you to do this, empowering you to express your case in a way that the court system will understand.

As a qualified and experienced children’s social worker, I understand the complexities of domestic abuse, emotional abuse, child abuse, parental alienation, mental health and substance use. I believe that family life can be messy and at times become toxic, but that co-parenting or financial separation does not need to be.

As a professional I have given evidence in court and been cross examined by experienced and assertive barristers, navigated private and public law proceedings, including 16.4 proceedings, gone through the appeal process up to the High Court, and navigated complex fact-finding hearings. Because of this, I can ensure you are fully prepared for anything that may come up within your family court proceedings.
