I cannot recommend Rosie Taylor highly enough. Navigating the Family Court as a litigant in person can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming, but Rosie’s support as a McKenzie Friend made a real difference

She is compassionate, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the court process. Rosie took the time to listen, helped me organise my thoughts and documents, explained matters clearly, and ensured I felt better prepared and supported throughout. She remained calm, professional and dependable during an exceptionally difficult time.

What stands out most is that Rosie genuinely cares about the people she supports. She combines practical assistance with empathy and understanding, while always being honest and straightforward. Rosie has been an incredible support in helping me in family court. Firstly, it has been extremely helpful to speak with her regarding my situation, I feel able to speak honestly, without judgment. She has supported me with writing my position and witness statement and given me fantastic guidance on what will happen, plus the cost for her time has been extremely fair, even generous. I can see she has an understanding of people and her knowledge of the court system, have been immeasurable for me and I feel very lucky to have found Rosie and that she was able to come with me to court.

I had an initial call with Rosie before my first hearing and Cafcass call. I felt so much more prepared and calm because of the call and I feel it really set the tone for my case throughout the rest of the proceedings. When I spoke to Rosie down the line as things evolved she offered further support in terms of what I needed to ask for in court. This was successful. Not only did I get the order I wanted for my child, but I got additional protection as well. Overall I would recommend for advice and support at much better rate than a solicitor.

Rosie has been a lifeline during one of the most difficult experiences of my life. She’s not only incredibly informative and knowledgeable, but also offers support in such a natural, down-to-earth way. She feels like a friend calm, reassuring, and grounded and has been an anchor through the overwhelming stress of family court. I honestly don’t know how I’d have managed without her.
